Increased pre-tension through patented system, ensuring good sealing of metal sheets
Strapano is characterised by a particularly high resistance against hot and sharp-edged chips. The pre-tension of the sheets can be customised, subject to our customers’ requirements. Strapano covers are available in many geometric shapes. They are extremely versatile and have been proven to work in all shapes such as wings, winglets, roof covers or louvres. But especially in walls made of protective covers in different levels (Fix&Finish protective cover system), the Strapano superstructure impresses with its many advantages. The combination of material and geometry ensures a very long service life. Any extension or lengthening of the cover is possible due to both the modular design and the tool-free assembly and disassembly of all components.
Single variety separation and recycling of components possible
Arnopure perfectly balances protective function with smooth operation and long service life. The design of this protective cover more than halved the space required in retracted state, compared to a traditional protective covers with metal sheets, when introduced. The more efficient use of available space enables significant advantages and potential savings in machine design, even far beyond the savings achieved by employing our cost-effective ArnoPure solution.
The very slim ELEGANO® protective covers made of telescopic sheets achieve an exceptionally small Lmin when compressed. Compared to commercially available covers, the Lmin is reduced by approx. 50%. In addition, the construction depth, in the dimension perpendicular to the direction of movement, is reduced by up to 15 mm. ELEGANO® protective covers have many advantages: The masses to be moved are very low and the pre-tension on the scraper lip of the telescopic sheet is only generated when required. This increases the acceleration of the axes that can be reliably achieved in the process, improves the milling result and saves energy. The telescopic plates are pressed on evenly and form a closed, dense surface. Hot and sharp-edged chips are reliably wiped off.
